The Ultimate AWS Certified Developer Associate course is where AWS stops being vocabulary and becomes something you actually build with. Over 32 hands-on hours, Stephane Maarek takes you through the services a cloud developer works with daily — Lambda and serverless, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3 in depth, CloudFormation and CI/CD on AWS — while preparing you thoroughly for the DVA certification exam.

Maarek's strength, as with his Cloud Practitioner course, is the tight alignment between what he teaches and what the exam and the job require. But this course is markedly more practical: you spend most of it inside the AWS console and writing configuration, not just watching slides. By the end you've assembled real serverless components and understand how they fit together, which is worth far more in an interview than a certificate alone.

This is the right course for a developer moving into a cloud role, and specifically for anyone who has done the Cloud Practitioner foundation and wants the technical depth that certification lacked. It's also a genuinely good way to learn serverless architecture even if you never sit the exam — the Lambda, DynamoDB and API Gateway sections stand on their own.
